Saddles, Engines, and Performance: An Unexpected Encounter

Last weekend, we stepped—literally—out of our natural habitat. Accustomed to major equestrian stages like Fieracavalli Verona, we had the opportunity to display one of our saddles in a context quite unusual for our world: Motor Bike Expo, the world’s largest international event dedicated to custom motorcycles and the two-wheeled lifestyle.

From Friday, January 24th to Sunday, the 26th, Verona transformed into an international crossroads of engines, design, and innovation, welcoming over 160,000 visitors, more than 700 exhibitors from over 20 countries, 8 pavilions, and 6 outdoor areas dedicated to shows and activities. An event that represents a true landmark for those who live performance as a lifestyle.

A New Audience, a Shared Vision Exhibiting an equestrian saddle among special bikes, sport bikes, and extreme builds might have seemed like a provocation. In reality, it proved to be a precious opportunity to introduce Gruppo Selleria Equipe S.p.A. to a non-equestrian audience that is surprisingly similar in sensitivity and approach.

Those who love motorcycles know that performance isn't just speed or power; it is balance, control, comfort, safety, and an obsessive attention to detail. These are the same values that guide every one of our projects. In this sense, the saddle—much like any technical component—is not a mere accessory, but a tool that supports the athletic movement, enhances sensations, and tangibly contributes to the quality of performance.

Made in Italy, Craftsmanship, and the Culture of Detail Motor Bike Expo is where mass production and customization dialogue and influence one another. This is a concept we feel deeply. Equipe saddles are born from a constant balance between technology, material research, and craftsmanship, in the tradition of authentic Made in Italy excellence, built every day within our company.

Bringing this know-how to a motorized context allowed us to present our approach in a different light, demonstrating how the culture of performance and customized products can cross disciplines, languages, and passions without losing identity.
